I am now 6 to 7 weeks into my newfound faith, and the feeling is like no other! The more unrelenting faith I have, the better my mood and the better my marriage is going. I’m only one book through, but I’m ready to read more.

At the end of the 2nd sermon, my wife and I talked about getting baptized. We are taught that baptism is the start to a new life walking with Jesus at the center of yourself. However, first, you must follow the steps of salvation. To have believe through Jesus is the way to God, to repent your sins, and then to be baptized. Of course, you must continue to live a Christian life afterward, and I plan/want to.

About the 8th week, my wife and I did come forward to schedule our baptism. They only wanted us to go to the front and talk to someone, but I was so determined I just walked past everyone and went through the door they had labeled “next steps.”
